Paul Mooney

For 25+ years, Dr. Paul Mooney has been helping leaders to address personal and professional challenges along with supporting organisations to resolve problems and develop capability. 

Widely recognised as an expert on organisation and individual change, Paul holds a Ph.D. and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Industrial Sociology (Trinity College), an MSc. and Post-Graduate Diploma in Executive & Business Coaching (University College Dublin), a National Diploma in Industrial Relations (NCI), Diploma in Corporate Governance. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a member of the Corporate Governance Institute. 

Paul began his working life as a butcher in Dublin. After an apprenticeship, he moved into production management in an industrial laundry. He subsequently joined General Electric and held a number of HR roles. After G.E, Paul worked with Sterling Drug in Ireland and the Pacific Rim, with responsibility for all HR activity across Asia.

In 1993, he moved into consulting, specialising in Organisation and Management Development. Between 2007 and 2010, Paul held the position of President, National College of Ireland. He currently leads Tandem Consulting, a team of senior OD/Change specialists. Tandem’s client list reads like a ‘Who’s Who’ of Irish and Multi-National Organisations with assignments across 20+ countries (public, private and not-for-profit clients). 

Paul is the author of 14 books covering a wide span of topics around organisation performance and personal change. Areas of expertise include:
